includes a coffee demonstration, fresh local lunch, and a stop at
Llano de Cortes waterfall on the way home, one of the nicest
Guanacaste waterfalls.
Bijagua Sloth Hike
Approximately two hours driving from Playa Potrero, we'll pick you
up in our air conditioned transportation, travelling inland to the
rainforests of Bijagua, one of the top ecotourism destinations in
Costa Rica. During your short kilometer rainforest hike, you'll
run into many different species of flora and fauna native to Costa
Rica, including Sloths, hummingbirds, frogs, Toucans, Howler
Monkeys, the endangered Tapir, and many other tropical bird
species. Your expert guide will point out animals, insects, plant
species, and pass along their detailed knowledge of the rainforest
and all its wonders to you.
Coffee Tour & Local Lunch
After the rainforest hike, visit a nearby family-owned farm for a
hands-on coffee demonstration. Learn how Costa Rica’s
world-renowned coffee is grown, harvested, and roasted, then
sample a fresh cup made the traditional way. Enjoy a delicious
Costa Rican lunch prepared with local fresh ingredients.
Llanos del Cortés Waterfall
We finish our rainforest tour by cooling off at the breathtaking
Llanos de Cortés Waterfall, Surrounded by lush forest, the wide
cascading Guanacaste waterfall offers a picture-perfect setting.
Relax on the sandy beach by the river, take a dip in the
refreshing natural pool, or explore the surrounding jungle trails.
It’s the perfect way to unwind after your morning rainforest
