Bachata is a genuine Bertram Sportfisher — a 31-foot saltwater fishing yacht built on the hull design that made Bertram one of the most respected names in offshore sportfishing. The boat has been completely renovated from top to bottom, including new twin Cummins diesels and an air-conditioned cabin, giving her the proven ride of a classic Bertram hull with the comfort and reliability of a freshly repowered boat. She's built to run offshore for Marlin and Sailfish while staying nimble enough for Potrero Bay's rocky points and bait-rich shallows closer to shore. Comfortably fishes 6 guests.
All rates cover up to 6 guests. Add $150 per additional guest for the 7th and 8th inshore fishing only.
Every charter aboard Bachata is private. You'll fish exclusively with your own group — we never combine you with other guests or strangers on any of the boats listed on the website.
Top-of-the-line Penn and Shimano gear, tackle, and bait are provided for every trip, so you don't need to bring anything. If you prefer to fish with your own rod or reel, you're welcome to bring it aboard.
Half day trips depart in the morning only. 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (4 hours)
3/4 day 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM (6 hours)
Full day 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (8 hours)
Bachata departs from Flamingo Marina, or Potrero Bay depending on conditions.
Guest safety comes first. If conditions aren't safe to fish, we'll work with you to reschedule for another available day.
